::Terrible customer service. They'll tell you what you want to hear to get you to rent the car. Then they will screw you over. We were told we would be getting a discounted rate and that if we wanted to extend our service it would be a small extra charge if we called ahead. We did just that, called and said we would be returning the car at 4pm instead if 12pm. Due to that, we were DENIED the discount we were promised and charged a full extra day for the rental. They also placed an additional $200 hold on our card without letting us know they would do so beforehand. This rental place completely ruined our vacation! DO NOT USE AVIS UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE WASTING MONEY.

::If I could give no stars I would. It took freaking forever to get our car - an hour. It seemed like they were waiting for it to be returned in order to give it to us. The place isn't that big that it should take that long. There's island time and there's Avis island time apparently.When we returned the car, there were additional charges no one could explain. We only used Avis because we booked our flights through JetBlue and got a break in the airfare, never again. The cheaper fare was not worth the aggrevation. I also need to add that the car felt like it would start dropping parts with every bump and dip.
