  I'm giving an extra star because the people were super nice. Otherwise it was clean, simple, but there was no desk or chair or iron.

  The night staff at the desk was great, but everything else was awful. No elevator, dirty room, absolutely no decor in the room, tiny TV that kept losing the signal, and only 2 very thin pillows. Thank God we were pnly there for one night.

  The hotel was just what we needed. Very simple; no frills but clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful; very helpful and friendly.

  MOLD, dirty and discriminatory. Our $48 reservation turned into $97 really quickly. Buyer beware! You will be charged $15 to park unless you want to park on the street and risk getting your car hit or mugged walking 4+ blocks away. We had a rental car therefore we couldn't risk getting hit in the road and we are two women who didn't know the area therefore couldn't risk getting mugged. The AC is intermittent and you go from being too hot to too cold. The bathroom was not clean and the staff at the front desk was rude when we mentioned the mold problem stating verbatim "everything is fine...everything is fine". Said staff member also harassed us about parking in the $15 parking lot next day after she saw us parking there because she claimed she didn't know we had parking stating "well there is no one back there so I'll let it slide". Remember, we paid for this privilege. Do not stay here.

  Edit - even tho the room was quite dusty and with a dead mosquito behind the sink, it was cleaned by the third day. I spoke with the receptionist at the moment of check -out and this was resolved. Be aware as this place does not have an ironing board (iron yes, board no) but there is a dry cleaner in front which does a good job at a good rate. All in all, a hotel made for essentially sleeping in, as opposed to one that you'll be spending most of your time. As someone who went for a conference, it served its purpose very well. edit 2 - Staff was extremely rude on check out.
