  I was in Puerto Rico in March getting a hair and makeup trial done for my wedding in July. The woman who did my make up used cheap drug store brands, 5 minutes after I walked out of the salon one of my false eyelashes fell off, and in natural sunlight, my neck was white and my face was carrot orange. Absolutely awful. They charged me $80 for my makeup disaster. Also, if you’re planning on using clip in hair extensions for your hairdo, clip them in before you enter the salon because they charged me $55 just to CLIP IN my hair extensions. I’m not even joking.. absolutely ridiculous. In total for my hair, they charged me $160. Absolutely waste of money and very disappointed in the quality of work for that kind of a price. $220 total after tax. I URGE YOU TO SAVE MONEY AND NOT GO HERE.

  Reserve a spot with at least a day in advance. I like this place for haircuts because of their punctuality in keeping appointments. Do arrive early.

  I purchased a $79 gustazo for a color at this salon and was pleased when they offered me an appointment the next day. Eva was my colorist and both her and her assistant were great! My hair needed a total overhaul so I ended up spending about twice as much as what I paid for the gustazo but it was well worth it in the end. My hair looks amazing and totally natural. Eva is clearly a pro and knew exactly what to do to give me the honey colored bayalage/sombre look I wanted. She also recommended a deep hydrating conditioner which really helped balance the damage of the bleach. Even the desk manager was sweet and helpful! I'm so glad to have found a salon in PR that caters to "gringos" as well as locals. I felt like a valued customer and will definitely be back for regular maintenance- and maybe to try a mani/pedi or facial next time. Thanks pretty ladies!!
