  We had an Airbnb that overlooked the plaza. A very eclectic spot, with everything from bums (not dangerous ones) to street performers and artists. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

  Great place at the Old San Juan Town. All fridays from 7:00 pm, you can see the group Tainos de Boriquen, playing Puerto Rico Bomba Music.

  A beautiful little city square with a statue and several sitting areas. The day that we visited the cruise ships were in town, so there were several artisans making different items for purchase. It was not at all crowded and we enjoyed our walk through.

  Outside of the capital building on the stately Forteleza. The center of San Sebastian festival. Cool things go on. Great smoothie bar and delicious Jamaican spot, "don't worry be fatty".

  It was basically empty when I was there. I wonder if it gets much foot traffic anymore since the public's attitude on Christopher Columbus has soured. Its still a nice photo opportunity though.
