  Wheelchair accessibility, though you may need help getting the chair up the steep walk. Free for active military, and discounts for others. Not much there, but information. And almost every inch of castle is photogenic. The bathrooms were not bad considering the location (in an old castle). You can go up to the roof as well, and the views are amazing up there!

  What a beautiful place to visit. Most areas seem to be ADA compliant. The views are spectacular. Looking out over the Atlantic gives you an amazing view of the ocean and with the fort situated on the hill you get an amazing view of old San Juan and beyond. It takes a lot of energy to explore the fort and we didn't get to see it all but I would love to go back and see it again. The price of admission is well worth it. Park employees were knowledgeable and courteous. If you have issues walking up steep hills make sure to take your time as there are many inclines within and outside of the fort. If you have children just beware that if they were to climb up some of the walls they could fall quite a distance, it's an old fortress not an amusement park so it's not meant for small children to run free. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my kid's though as it's a great piece of history and hopefully it would tire them out!

  It's a place to go and visit if you are interested in the history of the island. You have to go in comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking. If you are going with kids and paying the admission fee ($7 now) make sure they are ready to walk up and down stairs and you bring water even though there is a little shop inside you can buy some if needed. The scenery is beautiful but I think if there were someone for questions or some kind of history telling it would be better.
