::Overpriced...good drinks!

::Service was ultra slow and the food was ice cold. We sat as a six-top and the food literally took 2 hours to get served.

::Once upon a time this was the best restaurant in PR. I went for a birthday party recently and we waited hours for food; in fact, after two hours we had to leave without eating and go back to our hotel and order pizza. The restaurant is so empty on the weekends it is a shadow of its former vibrant self. The owner and manager were present the night we waited more than two hours for food in an empty restaurant, and they just didn't care. The waitresses are more interested in looking at their cell phones in the kitchen and gossiping than taking care of a table, and the drinks were watery, the glasses unclean, the food less than mediocre, and there was no belly dancer, no music, and no customers. On a Saturday night. Unless you enjoy being treated like garbage, don't ever go here.

::The food is actually really very good. I feel bad rating the service as poor because it's really the management's fault for not staffing the place adequately; there was just one waitress, who apologized in advance and warned us that the service would be slow. She was right. We'd be willing to overlook that but what really ticked us off was that one (of two) of our take home dishes was missing, which we only discovered later that day. Overall: Food is excellent, but be prepared to spend quite a while waiting to get it.

::We had a nice lunch here on Christmas when everything else was closed. We ordered a bunch of appetizers: the tuna tartare (decent), the hamachi sashimi with ponzu sauce/zucchini/Indian spices (tasty), the shrimp with mofongo (not that great), the salt cod with avocado/cheese on a pancake (tasty), the lentil soup (pretty good) and the lobster risotto (really tasty, with tons of fresh lobster). We also had some really good martinis -- mine had some sort of flower in it and was topped with champagne. I'd definitely go back for that lentil soup and the lobster risotto, along with a few martinis. Friendly service, if a bit slow. Decor was nice but the place could have been a bit cleaner (there are crevices in the tables -- which I liked -- but they had bits of food stuck in them).
